Animals Australia wins 2022 Site of the Year in the Australian Web Awards.
We’re thrilled to see Animals Australia bring home both the 2022 Site of the Year and Best Non-Profit Website awards—further enabling them to create a kinder world for all.
Run annually by the Australian Web Industry Association, the Australian Web Awards (AWA) showcases outstanding work by the Australian digital industry. Their mission is to strengthen and promote Australia’s web industry by championing best practice standards, recognising excellence and nurturing talent.
The new website for Animals Australia empowers them to advocate for—and elicit crucial donations that facilitate kindness, and respond to relevant issues around the world in real-time.
The website is designed to enable and reflect the visionary nature of Animals Australia’s advocacy work—including campaigns sparking ground-breaking reform in greyhound racing, live export regulations, and repeals on major restaurant chains’ usage of cage-farmed eggs. The award commends the Animals Australia site for its use of best-practice design, leading technical features, approaches and applications.
Animals Australia and August collaborated to craft and deliver a solution that is making an impact, while increasing the effectiveness and responsiveness of the Animals Australia team.
We congratulate this year’s AWA finalists for their outstanding work across all categories. The AWA judging process is thorough and detailed, performed by some of the industry’s leading experts. This year’s awards saw excellent competition and it’s an honour to see the Animals Australia site selected as Site of the Year, as well as winning the Non-Profit category.
